Helscott Barns are a set of five luxury conversions set down a private drive in two and a half acres over looking Widemouth bay and two miles from the Victorian seaside town of Bude. Originally used for keeping cattle, milking and keeping grain they have been converted to a high standard, each with its own individual character and full central heating.

Rose Barn is a detached 3 bedroom barn sleeping up to six with two double bedrooms upstairs and a twin bedded room downstairs ,an extra 2 people can be accommodated by using the pull down twin beds in the living room.

Open the wide stable door and enter into the high vaulted dining room with superb crystal chandelier twinkling overhead,go through and out of the French doors leading onto a private patio ideal for al-fresco dining. The kitchen area is separated from the dining room and contains all the equipment you may need including a dishwasher, washing machine,freezer and microwave.

The dining room opens out into the magnificent living room created from the original Round House,a huge hexagonal space with amazing beamed and vaulted ceiling and views over the countryside.

There are large squashy sofas,giant marble coffee table,another tv, dvd and stereo and a pair of pull down beds tucked away in the corner,there is also a log burner.

The family bathroom with semi sunken bath is on the ground floor next to the twin room ,great for the children and ideal for relaxing with a glass and book!Upstairs are the two double rooms,the master bedroom has a 4 poster bed,antique sofa and en suite shower room whilst the second double is across the galleried landing and is decorated in the French style with painted furniture. The views across the fields to the sea mean you can check the surf before going to the beach which is under 1 mile away.

There is a large private garden with a patio,table and chairs,and decking area outside the round house along with a lawn all enclosed with a fence and accessed via the french doors and sliding patio doors .

Change over day is a Saturday,please arrive between 4pm and 6pm and vacate by 10am,this gives us time to prepare for our next guests.

Please note that bed linen is included.

Heating is included between October and April but a weekly charge of £70 daily pro rata is payable outside these months.

Short breaks welcomed,Friday/Monday and Monday/Friday autumn, winter and spring.
